Brief Overview:

The Terrain Based Rifle course will help prepare you for the immediate, spontaneous and lethal attacks not covered on a square range. Principals based on sound fundamental tactics for the patrol rifle operator will be introduced at a venue that takes you off the square range and into an environment where the operator determines the shooting position, cover, movement, distance to target, and their limitations in abilities to make a legal and moral decision to engage and stop threats.  We are excited to bring back firearms training that will make a difference and bridge the gap in rifle operations for the patrol officer.

The Firearm and Vehicle tactics course focuses on the principles and tactics involved with working in and around vehicles with a handgun or rifle.  The purpose of this course is to provide the student with the skills and knowledge to be able to defend themselves or others while working in and around vehicles.  The student will learn the limitations and capabilities of vehicles and factors that arise when fighting in and around them.  Topics covered include:

  • Vehicle and Glass Ballistics
  • Exterior and Interior engagement techniques
  • Solo and Multiple Officer Movement in and around vehicles
  • Self-extraction techniques
  • Contingencies
